chestnutcurls: (happy Brens)
I have wonderful hair today, thanks to the new Garnier Fructisse shampoo. I also have some new Dove bath stuff. It smells like a lollipop. The shampoo smells like fruit. If it weren't rainy today, I'd be attracting bees. :)

This weekend I ate at the Marble Slab. I went to see Catch Me If You Can with my family. I went to the library and then sat happily in the sunshine and read. I hung out at Ryan's and we tried to fix my messed-up CD-ROM that has all of my photos on it. I went to a dinner at Kathy's church. I laughed a lot at things like:

  • My brother re-enacted a fake-commercial skit from SNL for me. It was for a new Broadway show. "First there was Stomp. Then there was BLAST! Now get ready for...Clapping!" Interview with a theater-goer: "Three hours of people clapping! It was awesome!" Announcer: "Clapping will catch you red-handed!" I laughed so hard I cried. I don't know...I think you just have to hear my brother saying it. Hey! I could get him to record it on a wav file. :)

  • The most hilarious Hokey-Pokey of my life. At the dinner for Kathy's church, there was some silly dancing afterwards and Kathy's mom (acting as DJ) played the Hokey-Pokey. Ryan and Kathy and I started purposely bumping into each other when we "put things in," which started innocently enough with things like elbows, but devolved into a three-person mosh pit. People stopped doing the Hokey-Pokey and started watching us instead. My stomach was hurting from laughing. I wish we had pictures. :)

I am going to work on my scrapbook for my sister tonight. Really. I need to stop slacking. And it's raining, so I can't excuse myself by going for a walk because I need exercise.
