I thought this would be an interminable week, because it was my first full one since before the holidays. But it hasn't been bad. It's hard to remember what it was like when I barely had any work to do.

Ryan's birthday dinner was fun. We ate at O'Charley's around 7:30, right as I was about to faint from hunger. I wanted to take pictures but left my camera in the car, and was too lazy to retrieve it, which I am still mad at myself about. After dinner we watched Good Will Hunting on Ryan's computer. He liked his Porsche book. My sister got him a gallon of this impossibly thick chocolate milk that he loves. Luke gave him a package of really awful cookies, because Luke is weird. I have such unusual friends. :)

Evan's mom e-mailed me yesterday and officially invited me to come to New Hampshire in the summer/fall! I'm excited. We figure we'll go in early August, after Kathy's wedding (I'll really need a vacation by that time). It's so funny how I made that list of cities I want to visit, and now I'm knocking them off one per year (his parents' town is about an hour from Boston). Maybe praying for specific things isn't such a crazy idea. :) Anyway, Evan and I are already practicing the use of "wicked awesome" in conversation, with the occasional "wicked smaht" thrown in for good measure. When in Boston I shall speak as the Bostonians do.

God is so good to me.

In case anyone was wondering these are the books in my book icon )

These are in my roomy CD rack because my real bookcase is overflowing. Hey, this gives me a fun idea: The Bookcase Project. Everyone take a picture of your bookcase (or haphazard book stack) and tell us about the books in it. I like to hear what everyone's reading.
