It is beautiful outside. I just spent most of my lunch hour driving around, enjoying cd's in my car. Most people would say, "Big deal!" But to me it IS a big deal, because I have not had a tape adapter for the car in over a year. (Petunia's tape player kept spitting it out.) So I determinedly bought one yesterday. And Kermit the Car did not reject it! Nothing makes me happier than a new music-related toy. I remember when I got my beautiful home stereo, I was practically beside myself.
On a related note, I have been practicing my guitar a lot and leaning new songs. This also cheers me up, even though it really should depress me because I am so bad. I can't play a single chord cleanly; my fingers just won't get out of the way of the other strings. Apparently I am too bad even for tutorial websites, because I have not found a single one that tells you how to make your fingers obey you. I am also not singing as well as I used to. Yet I continue to enjoy playing and singing. I feel bad for my neighbors.
This is a good day. I think this is the best I have felt in...well, a week, but it might as well be a year. I know I'm still on the emotional roller coaster, but I'm just glad to be at the top for a little while.

glad to hear you're feeling better. I'm missing a tape deck in my car. I have tons of tapes and nothing to play them on. "Sideswipe" (named after a favorite Transformer, but Teresa won't let me call it that) only has a CD player and my home tape decks are all broke. My walkman might still work...

You should go to the park or go see Bun. I know seeing Max this weekend cheered me up some

Yeah, I need to see Bun. Unfortunately, that requires that I also see stressor-people who will counteract the good effects of seeing him. But maybe I'll go when they're not at home. :)
