First of all, I have been very shaky since yesterday. Last night, my legs were shaking so much that I could hardly get into bed. When I have these shaky-sick episodes, I get stressed very, very easily.
I spent my entire morning working on the powerpoint for the goodbye party. Finally, it is finished and perfect and ready to be made into a video. Except that I have no way of getting it off my computer. I tried to email it to Kathy as we had planned, but none of her email accounts can hold it. I don't have a cd burner here, nor do I have 12 floppies to put it on. So I may be re-doing three hours of work tonight.
This is what I was thinking about when I went to Target on my lunch, where I bought hair necessities and batteries, which added up to 50 dollars. Since my money is dwindling very fast, what with paying for summer conference and a new bathingsuit and a plane ticket and all, I was not happy. Then I went to the Exxon to put air in my tires because they looked low. Unfortunately, I was unable to remember whether they were supposed to have 30 or 40 psi. And my skirt kept blowing in the wind for all of Poplar traffic to see while I tried to put air in the tires. When my air ran out, I gave up and came back to work.
I know these are silly concerns in the grand scheme of things, but I just want to go home and go back to bed.
