no, I do not work at the Gap
Feb. 21st, 2003 02:36 pmI want to post, but I really have nothing to talk about.
I went to the mall at lunch, because I still have a gift certificate from Christmas. I had been eyeing a sweater at the Ann Taylor Loft a couple of months ago, so I figured it would be on sale now and I could buy it. But it was gone, and I didn't see any other clothes that excited me, so I guess I'll try again another day.
Clothing has not been much fun since I started working. I wear gray or black almost every day. I own several long, flowery skirts, but I have come to feel that they look old-ladyish. I have plenty of cute clothes, but I can't wear them because they are "unprofessional." When summer comes, I can go out more in the evenings, and wear my cute clothes then. I'll just have to console myself with that. :P
I just realized I've been talking about clothes, nail polish, etc. far too much lately. I had better get serious, or someone will think I have a column in Seventeen or something.
My family has gone out of town, and asked me to stop by the house today and tomorrow to feed Bun. But since I was already going to be sitting around by myself tonight, I decided to just spend the night out there. I can have some Quality Bun Time, watch cable, and do some scrapbooking- because there's a table there! :) And my dad just had a top-of-the-line computer built for the family, and he wants me to check it out while I'm there. So, I may be actually getting on AIM late this evening! Keep an eye out for me! :)
