it's just the way of human nature
Jul. 8th, 2003 01:52 pmHappy birthday, Rachael! I hope you have a great day!
Can anyone give me the link to that LJ-birthday thing? I need to bookmark it so I'll stop forgetting people's birthdays.
I'm feeling bleah today. I feel fat. Now that everyone in my office is on Weight Watchers, I hear about points and calories all day long, and by the end of the day I feel like a pig. I still haven't lost these stupid few pounds, but I don't have the willpower to live on water, celery, and popcorn. And I don't have time to go walking even a few times a week, because I have too much to do. I wish I had someone to help me with the housework. My car interior needs to be steam-cleaned, my bedsheets are developing annoying linty things, and my apartment smells musty no matter how many candles I light. Also, I wasn't planning to go to Bible study tonight (since they've moved it to Beale Street, which is inconvenient for everyone), but one of the church guys wants to ride there with me, so I will probably go anyway and be out much too late and be tired all day tomorrow.
*gasping* Thanks for letting me get that out. I know some of you guys have much bigger problems. I have no cause for complaints.
Here's something fun. I found out that Gayle (my parents' friend)'s cousin is John C. Reilly. I remember her mentioning this years ago when he was in The Perfect Storm, but then I forgot about it. She has a whole folder full of clippings about him. It's pretty cool. The funny thing is, she was telling me about all the movies he's been in recently- several were nominated for Oscars- but I was most impressed when I heard he'd been in Never Been Kissed. There's no accounting for my taste.
