I am working in the file room today and don't have much to say, but I wanted to share today's weather history fact: the importance of wearing a jacket. 1864: President William Henry Harrison took his oath of office on a chilly, cloudy, windy day. His speech took 100 minutes; he rode a horse to and from the Capitol without a hat or overcoat. He caught a cold that went to pneumonia; he died 1 month later.
