Happy late birthday to [livejournal.com profile] jsmoe34 and [livejournal.com profile] jmcphers, two friendly, fun, Godly guys. I hope you had good birthdays! Sorry I wasn't on time.

I continue to learn new things about being in a relationship, and one of them is that it apparently makes me very prone to injury. In the last six and a half weeks, I have developed tendonitis, pulled a major muscle in my back, and now gotten one of the worst bruises I've ever had from walking directly into my car's side mirror. Not to mention the way I spill things, drop things, and trip over things whenever he's around. He's very distracting. Thankfully, he knows I used to be more graceful.

This was an awesome weekend. Friday night was the best date ever. On the way to the Commissary, Jessica called, and I got Evan to talk to her. :) At dinner I ate a whole rack of ribs by myself. They were that good. All that protein made me very energetic, so we had a great time at Putt-Putt. Evan's score was considerably better than mine, but then I demonstrated my Ms. Pac-Man skills in the arcade, so we called it even. We have so much fun together. It was great. :D

Saturday was restful. I stayed at home reading and napping until late afternoon, when I went out to Collierville to see Luther with Evan, Ryan, and Chris. If you haven't seen this movie, you're really missing out. It was enlightening and beneficial. Now Evan and I are both inspired to read about Reformation history. We want to know how much of the movie was real and how much was Hollywood. :) Sunday was more peaceful happiness. Church, lunch at Abner's, visiting my parents, watching Matrix Reloaded, going to IPC's Sunday night service again to hear Jean Larroux, only to find that he wasn't speaking for the second week in a row. Next time we're going to call ahead.

I am sickeningly happy. :) I'm so excited about the next couple of months. All kinds of good things are happening. 11/1 (next Saturday)- Evan moves to his new, nearby place. 11/5- Matrix Revolutions. 11/12- Evan's birthday. 11/22- RUF barn party, at Luke and Myla's! 11/25- I leave for a Thanksgiving week in Texas, which includes another cousin's wedding. I was dreading this but now I'm actually looking forward to it. 12/14- Ryan's college graduation, for which their mom is coming, and I'll be included in some Family Outings. :) 12/17 - Return of the King. Then Christmas and New Year's. Much activity and happiness. Remind me of the happiness when the times come and I'm stressing about cleaning, money, and finding presents for everyone.
