It's a Lord of the Rings thing. When Aragorn comes to claim the throne of Gondor in Return of the King, he wears "a star on his brow." It has to do with his elf-name, Estel, which meant "star." Also, I think, his bond with Arwen who was "the evenstar of her people." None of that was mentioned in the movies, though. :P A year or so ago, Evan and I were painting my ceiling with glow in the dark star paint and taking down my old plastic stars. I playfully stuck one on my forehead and then said, "Hey, I'm the Queen of Gondor!" He thought it was hilarious. So I took a picture and made a "Queen of Gondor" icon out of it. This is a different picture, not the original, because the lighting in the original was very bad. I liked that picture better, though.
Anyway, I use this when I'm being silly or talking about LOTR. I'm such a dork.
Only a couple of hours until the long hair goes bye-bye. Why do I have such mixed feelings about this? It's just hair. And it's not like I'm getting a bob. Sheesh.
