Oct. 29th, 2001 03:34 pmMonday seems to be Journal Day. I guess I should update it more regularly, but often I don't know what to write. I am determined to write something OTHER than a description of my weekend, though.
Mostly, I am just looking forward to being in my apartment. It will be wonderful to have my own space, that is not overrun with my brother's middle-school friends, or my confused mother, unable to remember how to check her email. I love my family, but I am an adult, and enough is enough.
Things are mostly okay. I am praying for peace to combat the one very sucky thing happening over which I have no control. God has been faithful every time I have faced something like this- it was always for the best. So you think I'd have learned something by now, but it kills me that I can't do anything to "fix" it. I have, like, the faith of an ant.
Oh, the Cordova band placed second overall at Vanderbilt this weekend- Go Cadets! I am so proud of my sister, who has worked tirelessly for three seasons, and just keeps getting better. (Love the Debs! :) )
I guess that's enough superfluous information for one day.
