Major episode of Friends last night. Jamie came over to watch the tape with me, and while we were doing that, Em called! I was glad. Then I spilled a full glass of tea all over the living room floor. This followed Wednesday night's stellar performance of setting a still-hot popcorn pot next to me on my couch, thus ruining one side of the cushion. I need distractions, but I would prefer that they not involve making a mess of my apartment.
I told Kathy that I want her to move in and don't care whether she can afford to split the rent or not. So she is coming as soon as she can. I feel somehow relieved now. Kathy is coming, and everything is going to be okay. I don't know what I would do without my friends. God has blessed me with wonderful friends who love me and are taking care of me. I need to be content with that. Even if I never have anything else, it is still more than a lot of people have.
