Apr. 11th, 2002 02:09 pmSeveral pieces of good news that I have been meaning to share, but keep forgetting:
- Free Scoop Night at Baskin-Robbins is May 1! Mark your calendars (and get a map of all your local Baskin-Robbinses). Last year, Kathy and I et al. planned to go to all five or six places, but we felt ill after the second one and decided to stop. It was a fun night.
- I discovered a couple of weeks ago that a huge new movie theater is being built right here in my neighborhood! It'll probably take forever, but it is exciting to know that someday, we will no longer have to drive twenty minutes to see a decent movie.
- Did I mention that Kathy is moving in in nine days?
- I have found the bathingsuit I am going to buy. (Uttered with the same reverence as, "I have found the man I'm going to marry." LOL.) It has a tankini-ish halter top, and boy shorts, and most fun of all... it has cherries on it! I look like something out of Ocean's 11 in it. :) I didn't buy it yet because I was afraid it might be immodest, so Kathy is going to come to the store with me to make sure it's okay. I'm very paranoid about these things.
- I talked to the nicest lady this morning. When you call as many uncooperative people as I do at work, you really appreciate people who are friendly and understand why you need documents from them. Instead of whining about how unfair we are to ask them to make one copy of something and mail it to us. :P
- I just got paid! (cue cheesy N*sync song)
