Inspired by jessecho's new look, I have changed my journal style too. I like green. Green is good. It is healthy. It is the color of high-fiber vegetables, Kermit the Frog, and my car.

Before I forget- I was just informed via an email from our corporate health program that May is "Older Americans Month." This is the most ridiculously PC thing I have ever heard. Older as opposed to who? Heck, I could be an Older American. And what about older non-Americans? Don't they deserve a month, too? LOL.

I went to dinner last night with a couple of friends, one of whom is leaving for a summer internship at Yosemite. She's nervous, but I know she's going to have a great time. I am excited for her. Isn't it weird when people leave for big experiences like that, and you know they're not going to come back the same person? And you kind of wish you were going too, or were doing something. Because you want to grow too. Lately I don't feel like I am growing. I'm still focused on the same old things, and going to the same job every day. (Kind of sad that I feel this way, since I haven't even been here a year.) Well, I am looking forward to the summer. There will be lots of new people to meet and a few new things to do.

I will probably write again later, if today doesn't get more exciting.
