no monsters
Jun. 7th, 2002 10:00 amAnother day of nothingness stretches out before me. Need...some work...to do...someone...build hotel...please...If it wasn't Friday, I really think I would go nuts.
Do you remember going to bed when you were little, and seeing scary shadows in your room and thinking they were monsters, and being so terrified that you couldn't even call for help? And then your dad would come in and turn on the light, and show you that what you thought was a scary monster was only a coat rack.
That's how I felt last night. It was the first real test of my new weird boy situation. I was nervous and upset. But, my Father helped me to suck it up, and then He came in and turned on the light. And, for the moment, I am not afraid of monsters in my room. :)
This weekend, I am going to see About a Boy, and Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood. Then on Saturday night, I'm going to the boxing match party. I think these things cancel each other out, so I emerge neither too girly nor too manly. :)
Be assured that there will be more journaling later. I still have 6 hours to kill.
