designing woman
Feb. 5th, 2003 02:40 pmOkay, I'm working on a redesign and it's taking me forever. I'm still looking for a background. Where do you guys find all your pretty pictures and stuff? I can't find the sort of thing I want (and I can't describe it, either :P). I've been through a million background sites, but most of them are tacky. Sigh.
I had a nice lunch with Lawson and Jeremy, as usual, although we disagreed about whether bean sprouts were an acceptable sandwich topping. I enjoy them because they make me feel more healthy, but Lawson thinks they're too grass-like. :)
I had a very nice time with my family last night. My mom cooked special enchiladas. My brother told funny stories. I got to spend time with Bun, who had had a bath the day before, so he was especially fluffy. :) His chin is doing much better, so thankfully he won't need "surgery" after all. And he seems a little thinner! Yay!
I forgot to tell about something neat that happened last week. During most of my band years, I was the band historian, and my senior year, I made a big scrapbook. (It's very crude compared to my scrapping methods now, but it's still a scrapbook.) I'm in the process of re-doing my own band book, so I asked Debra to ask our (my former, her current) band director if I could borrow the old one and scan the pictures, since I don't have many of my own. She asked, and our director said I could keep the book!!! I am so excited. However, I stupidly forgot it at the house last night, so I still haven't gotten to look at it. But I'm going to scan some pictures for you guys. :)
