real men and nail polish
Feb. 12th, 2003 10:27 amToday is my brother's fifteenth birthday. It's hard to believe he's almost old enough to drive. :) I started thinking the other day that soon he'll be an adult and will go off to have his own life, and I won't even know him. I wish we were closer, but we don't really have any interests in common. I'm going to make more of an effort to do things with him anyway. Despite his occasional unreasonableness, he really has grown to be a nice brother. He always gives me a hug and tells me he loves me when I leave the house, even if his friends are there, which is very touching to me. :)
Anyway, tonight we're going to Shogun (a lot like Benihana) for his birthday dinner! And then I'm going to Bible study! Yay!
Buyer Beware: I bought a bottle of Hard Candy nail polish (in Mirage) in Vegas. This was a huge extravagance for me. Imagine my disappointment when huge areas of polish started peeling off my nails after just a day. I mean, my 99-cent Wet 'n Wild bottle lasts longer. :( I guess I'll go back to my old favorite, Sinful Colors. I was practically collecting those things at one point. I even bought Green Bay Yellow (I think it's called Canary Yellow now). I have never worn it. {/girliness}
Well, this was pointless.
