January Book List
Jan. 31st, 2006 12:02 pmAlthough I've been reading everyone's book lists, it didn't occur to me until now that today is also MY book list day. :P
The Yada Yada Prayer Group Gets Real and The Yada Yada Prayer Group Gets Tough by Neta Jackson
Books 3 and 4 in the Yada Yada series. The writing style and plot aren't very complicated (I feel like I could do equally well), but I like these books. They're very down-to-earth, and they inspire me to reach out more and pray more.
At Home in Mitford, A Light in the Window, A Common Life: The Wedding Story, and These High, Green Hills by Jan Karon (re-reads)
I'm re-reading Mitford in preparation for the last book, which came out recently. It's been neat to read them in order this time, since the wedding story was published later. Oh, and I'm not done with that last one yet, but I plan to finish it tonight, so I'm including it.
That's all. With being out of town, family and cat drama, and generally not having room in my schedule to sit and read, that's all I could cram in. More next month, hopefully.
