chestnutcurlsEvan was in a wreck on the way to work this morning. I was on my way to work just now when he called to tell me. Some idiot pulled out into the street at about 40 mph and smashed into the car. Somehow the car got slammed into a gas pump. Evan hit his knee on the dash and it's split or something, I think he just needs stitches because he said it wasn't that bad and he sounded fine. He kept telling me he was okay. He doesn't have health insurance, so I don't know how in the world we're going to pay for it, but the important thing is he's okay. The car is totaled, though. He's had that car for about three weeks.
His cell phone got smashed too, so he was calling from a pay phone. He's going to call me again when he gets to the hospital. I want to go be with him but he said I didn't need to, and I don't even know where they're taking him. So here I sit at work. I feel helpless and freaked out. Please pray. Thanks.
