Trees and poetry and stuff

What are your favorite kinds of trees?
Palm trees, and maples. I have a tulip poplar outside my apartment which is very nice to look at, but not at all nice to park under. Anyway, I am a friend to all trees. :)

What is your perfect time to go to bed at night?
11:30 or 12

What is your perfect time to wake up in the morning?
9:00

Write a few lines from one of your favorite poems.
I'll just link the whole thing - "Bridge" by Lilian Moore. It always makes me think of the Memphis "M" Bridge. It's weird- this page belongs to a girl who's on my LM Montgomery e-mail list, so give her some love! :)

What/when was the last nice little surprise that you had?
Kathy sneakily put spinach in our meat patties for dinner last night. It was actually pretty good. :)

Do you prefer to drink with a straw?
Only when at a restaurant. And I become indignant if I go somewhere and can't get a straw. It feels like robbery. :)

Has anything out-of-the-ordinary happened today?
Yes- I went home to eat lunch, and while I was there, Kathy's boyfriend showed up at our door. It turned out he was meeting her there so they could go to lunch, and she just wasn't there yet, but it threw me off.

What did you dream about last night (if you remember)?
I was involved in some sort of rescue mission with Luke Skywalker and Mara Jade. I am not kidding. No more Timothy Zahn before bedtime!

What, if anything, do you say when people sneeze?
"Bless you." Wasn't there a movie about a lonely guy who was looking for a girl who would say "bless you" when he sneezed? Does anyone remember this, or has the cake gone to my head? :)

In the car coming back from lunch.

What is the last beverage you drank?
Iced tea. Surprise.

What section(s) of the newspaper do you read?
I don't get the paper, but when I read it, I always read the comics and the whole life/entertainment section. Also, I usually look through Neighbors to see if there's anything interesting.
