It's been a nice, busy day. I had Copier Training this morning, which was so Office Space that I kept wanting to laugh. Then we went to Olive Garden for our department lunch. I ate bread and salad and lasagna and tiramisu. I do not think I will ever eat again.

Also, my sore muscles are much better. Last winter, I was always cold at night, so my parents bought me a heating pad that goes on my bed like a sheet. I slept with it on last night, and I think that had a lot to do with my renewed ability to move today. :)

I'm getting stressed about making my costume. The clueless lady at the fabric store didn't cut enough fabric for me, so I have to go back tonight and get more. I don't know if I can finish the dress in time; it takes me so long to sew things. If I had my mother's sewing genes, I could do it in an hour and be done with it. But no, I'm eternally messing up and ripping out and re-doing. At least that's what happened with the last dress I made. But I'm trying again.

I need a more interesting life. Maybe then I'd have something non-boring to tell you guys. :)

What's tiramisu? I've never been to Olive Garden before, so that's probably why I've never heard of it. I hope you don't have any nauseating dreams about all that you ate, if you catch my drift, even though I didn't have chili or a sundae the night I had that dream, if ya catch my drift. :P

As for having to make your own costume, how much progress have you made on it, and how much time do you have to get it done before the night of the Halloween party? I wish I had one to go to, and if I did I'd probably try to find a costume shop, or something. I'll probably just be watching scary movies and stuff that night, unless I'm watching Survivor, CSI or ER, cuz I usually do watch scary movies and stuff they have on in October leading up to Halloween.

Tiramisu is a piece of heaven. It's an italian dessert made with (typically) lady fingers, coffee, whipped custardy-cream, a dusting of cocoa and some other stuff. I'm not even using the right terms, so the best way to describe it is: yum. They serve it at most Italian restaurants and some non-Italian ones. Try it!

A more interesting life? I think that's a great American myth. Our lives are interesting because they happen to us and the people we care about, not because of our experiences. So it is interesting that you had an Office Space training session and that you are making your own Halloween costume from scratch. Maybe not worthy of an Oscar winning screenplay, but we like your life just the way it is.
