I just went to Sears on my lunch break and saw a huge sale on boots- regular go-go boots *and* the lace-up Tank Girl kind that I have always wanted, for under 20 dollars! When I tried them on, I found that they would not zip up over my legs. I never thought that my semi-muscular legs, one of my few good physical attributes, would destroy my dream of having boots. I tried everything to make them zip, but nothing worked. I finally had to give up and put them back.
And then I heard a song that reminded me of someone, and made me sad. There's nothing worse than a reminder of something beautiful you've lost while you're looking at clearance makeup. :(
