If I ever won the lottery, I would quit my job (and get a part-time job somewhere, just so I could have income), and spend a lot of time making stuff, like this girl does. I love crafty things like this. Why don't I do them? When did I become so uncreative and boring? Even my scrapbooks are boring. That's why I get burned out on scrapbooking for long periods of time...all my books look exactly the same.

Sometimes I look at my life and wonder what I'm accomplishing. And sometimes the answer is nothing. I've yet to produce anything that's worthy of praise. I haven't written anything in years. I feel like I'm more of a burden or an annoyance to my friends than a help and encouragement. I know that I can't accomplish anything, and anything good is God working in me, but I wish I was a more useful person.

Sorry...I'm feeling bummed today.

Hey sad clown...

You've been anything but a burden to me. I know I'm not a "real life" friend, but I have found your journals, pictures, and ideas to be creative and UNboring! You always talk about things that you're doing that seem cool. CDs, redesigning your journal, sending out cards (and gifts!) to people, painting a starry sky on your ceiling, etc.

But I understand what you mean, and sometimes I think I need to take more time out for creativity.

I don't think you're useless or boring at all. For instance, the times in my own LJ when I've vented or complained about different stuff, you're one of the ones that tends to tell me "now hold on there a minute"...in your own sorta way, and sometimes that's what I need to hear.

I listened to your CD today, and I love it. :) That song Good Friend made me think of you since you were the one who made the CD. :)

Well, I havn't talked to you *that* much yet, but I have to say your posts have always been very encouraging and you seem like a great person. I wish I could talk to you more, because it sure seems like we are a lot alike. =) Keep your chin up, girl! You're great!

I hope this doesn't post about 3 times, because LJ wasn't working right last night when I tried. Anyway, maybe I'll see you on IM sometime. =) Are you ever interested in a real letter penpal?

Yeah, that might be fun! I used to write to my friends in Miami all the time, but they've all gotten married and don't have time to write anymore. :P :)

Would you want me to write you? I sometimes may take a bit to write back due to school but I will - I love writing letters!

LOL...thanks. :)

No, I don't play the lottery. Although I have talked about it a lot lately. We just voted on a Tennessee lottery in November, so I guess it's on my mind.

If you were all creative like her, you wouldn't have time to post your mucho entertaining, and usually uplifting journal entries, and then where would the bored-at-work people (I) do?

It is not your job to assess you useful-ness and your ability to accomplish things. God gets to do that.

You should be encouraged, we all love your posting. You encourage us. Keep it real and in perspective. By that I mean focus on who you are in Christ. That way you don't have to worry about who you are by yourself. Everytime I quit thinking about me with God and think about me by myself I wig out. So that's all about me, I'm not that spiritual, just aware of my own weakness.
