chestnutcurlsI forgot to mention what a nice time I had with Em last weekend. So Em, I had a nice time. :) It was good because it was the first time in forever that we could just be together, instead of planning/attending some huge event. And, since Lili seems to be barreling straight for Louisiana, we may have another such time sooner than we expected. :)
I'm starting to prepare for the arrival of the cat. We are going to go to my boss's house after work tomorrow to meet the kittens and decide which one we want. They have to be weaned first, though, so it will still be a couple of weeks before the cat can come home. Linda let me know that the kittens are gray, and they're all boys. When Kathy told one of her friends about this, he suggested we name the cat Gandalf! I am really excited about this. I feel like such a cool person for having a cat named Gandalf, which is pretty sad. :) Anyway, I have started reading You and Your Cat, and am making an effort to be more friendly with the neighborhood cats, so I can get used to feline interaction. :)
Today I am wearing a new cardigan, which is always a nice feeling. Even though it is in the high 80s outside. In October. Sigh.
