chestnutcurls | I wanna go home, why won't they let me go home?

My office is full of sickos today (in the physical sense, not the mental sense :)), and I don't feel very good myself. I think we should all go home and go to bed. Unfortunately, Human Resources would be sure to notice this.

We had our annual book fair this morning, and I bought a cute Christmas box. It's blue and red with snowmen on it, and it contains matching Christmas cards and stationery. I couldn't resist it. I needed Christmas cards anyway. :) And after I send all of my cards, I can put the cards sent to me in the box. Yay!

I didn't go to lunch today because I'm making up time for the half-day I'll be missing next week. The day seems so long when I can't go anywhere. And we're still tying up the loose ends of The Project, which can be irritating. (Evan advised that, if anyone comes to harass me about the project, I should speak to him in an Entish way: "Hroom, hoom, you are a hasty fellow." I laugh whenever I think of this.)

Plan for tonight: Chicken Marsala, Friends/Will & Grace, and scrapbooking with Kathy and MaryElaine. It should be a nice, relaxing evening.
