artifacts of a past life
Dec. 11th, 2002 10:33 amI feel like I haven't said much here lately, but I have been feeling sort of bleah in the head and haven't wanted to bore all of you with details. I will brainstorm for exciting and fun journal topics. :)
I am reading a really neat book right now, about a French acrobat who illegally rigged a wire between the Twin Towers and walked across it, in 1974. It's interesting stuff, on many levels. :)
When I was a freshman in college, I bought four glass tumblers with strawberries on them at the dollar store. Over the years, as their sentimental value increases, I've lost two, but we had two left. (They're the only matching glasses we have, by the way.) Last night, I came home to find one of them shattered all over the dining room floor, and a very guilty-looking cat pacing around. Now there's only one left. It's a silly thing, but I'm sad about it.
I have work to do now, but I'll be Bach.
