- the new Michelle Branch CD, Hotel Paper. I haven't listened to it yet. I also looked again for the Clay Rolling Stone issue, but all I found was Justin and Christina. Again. Is the mail really that slow?
- one chapter left of Order of the Phoenix. Although I need to read Chapter 37 again, since I read it all in a rush before coming to work this morning.
- eight days until I go to Miami! This will be the second stop on Brenda's Summer Tour 2003, to be followed by New Orleans and possibly Michigan.
- no money.
- another headache.
How old were you the first time you flew on an airplane, and where did you go?
I was two and we flew to New York to visit my great-grandparents. My first memories are of that trip. I remember looking out the window at the ground, and my grandmother saying, "That's West Virginia."
Talk about the pets you've had growing up (include some names!).
My first pet was a cocker spaniel named Buffy, whom we had to get rid of when we moved to a new house and he got a little crazy. :( Then we had Rosie, a shih-tzu who was stolen from our yard after just a few months. After that, we had plenty of fish, and a hamster named Stevie (after my cousin), but no more big pets until my senior year, when we got Bun (whose original name was Felicia). And now I have Gandalf.
EDIT: I forgot our parakeet, Bluey, who met a sad demise when he flew into a mirror, and our cockatiel, Lucky, who drove my relatives crazy and was given to an elderly neighbor when we moved.
Did you share your bedroom with a sibling(s)? When did you get your own room?
I had my own room until Kevin was born, when I was eight. Then Debra and I shared a room for a year and a half, and then we moved to Memphis and I got my own room again. I've been very blessed in that regard.
Have you ever had surgery? If so, what kind(s)?
Nope. No broken bones, no stitches, and no surgeries. I'm hoping to stay that way as long as possible. :)
