chestnutcurlsIt could not be any more beautiful outside. I'm going to take Gandalf for a "walk" when I get home tonight...I went to Petco at lunch and bought a harness for him. :)
Band practice last night was great. I met the three other flute players. The church music minister, who was there playing tuba, said he was proud of me for joining. :) The whole practice was almost a surreal experience, as if no time had passed since I was seventeen years old and sitting on a stage playing my last spring concert. All of my training and mannerisms came back to me automatically. I loved it. We're having another practice on Saturday morning, and I'm actually looking forward to it. How geeky am I? (That's rhetorical.)
On the way home I went to Starbucks and got a mocha frappucino. As it was after 9 pm, this was a big mistake. :) By 10 pm I was dancing in and out of rooms singing to Gandalf, who kept running away from me (I can't imagine why). laura8225 and singing along to DJ Sammy's "Heaven" at the top of my lungs. She was slightly alarmed.
Ryan is going to come with me to the LJ Lunch on Sunday (as long as that's okay with everybody, of course). He thought it sounded fun, and I thought it would be fun for him to meet you guys, and good for Lawson to have another guy around. :)
