*hug* I know when my siblings got engaged it was very bittersweet - esp. my sister. She is still my friend, and a very sweet one, and of course I'm very truly happy for her.... but I do tend to miss the old Amanda. Don't be discouraged!!!!!!!!! and you'll have her living with you for a good while yet, right?

God actually WANTED Adam to feel lonely. Later, whenever Adam laid down on his side ... or leaned up against something ... or twisted funny ... and felt that missing rib, God wanted Adam to remember his loneliness and understand and appreciate just how special Eve was ... that she was made from him and was his perfect compliment.

It's okay to be lonely. It's God's way of telling us we are made in pairs.
