chestnutcurlsIt is one of those days when the sky just can't get any bluer, and everything is beautiful. I halfway expect little cartoon animals to appear and start singing.
RUF was good last night. There were surreal moments, though, as the reality of Harris and Lisa's departure is sinking in. When Casey did the announcements, she said "Next week is the last RUF in this room," and we all just looked at each other in disbelief. Changes are coming, whether I like it or not, in just a few weeks. Not all of them are sad- for instance, Kathy moves in in ten days!- but others will be. I know I shouldn't be quite so involved once the new campus minister comes. I came into RUF with Harris and Lisa, and I feel I should leave with them to some degree. So the goodbye party is going to be a major event. I'm going nuts trying to remember everything I have to get done, and all the surprises I have to keep straight. It's fun, though. :)
