For some reason my friends list is scrolling horizontally. I don't see any big pictures or anything, so I don't know what's causing it. In the meantime I have to scroll back and forth for every sentence. It is very annoying.

To borrow a Jessica device, I am Typey Typerson today. I can thank God and my ergonomic keyboard for my complete lack of wrist pain. Yay! I have had zero pain since I got this keyboard. This morning a sort-of co-worker saw it and demanded to know when I had gotten it and why. Now she's getting one too, even though she doesn't have tendonitis or anything. She also demanded to know why my boss wasn't here today, even though she does not deal directly with her in any way. No one expects the Spanish Inquisition.

Gandalf is being such a good cat, suddenly. The last time he was this nice was when we first brought him home as a tiny kitten. Since the tree incident, he has been affectionate and well-behaved. I'd think it was just a ploy so he could cause more destruction later, but I don't see that devious glint in his eyes anymore. It's weird, like an alternate-universe Folgers commercial. We have switched Brenda's regular cat with a much sweeter, calmer cat. Let's see if she notices.

I am still working on a rehaul of my website, which will not look any more professional than my current website because I can't do tables or anything remotely fancy. But at least it'll have different colors, different graphics, and better content (most of this time has been spent adding to my quotes database). It would be nice if I could get it up before the end of the year, but who am I kidding? I'm currently working on three assignment-and-assumptions of hotels by myself. That means nothing to you, but trust me, it's a lot.

Evan took me to lunch today. I love to be with him, even if I'm just sitting there watching him program numbers into his new phone. :)

Christmas cards take a very, very long time to write. I finally accepted that I am old enough to send my own cards to family, which means about 25 more cards than before. If I only send to certain relatives, other relatives will find out and get huffy. Sometimes I envy people with small extended families. :P The postage is going to kill me. I like to make sure I include a little message with each one, so it takes me a lot longer than most people. Evan is baffled as to why I do this at all. Do most guys think Christmas cards are stupid?

I have these visions of grandeur every year when it comes to my Christmas cards, but then I never actually mail them... :P

Haha... love the Folgers reference... Maybe Gandalf has repented? Turned from his wicked ways?

Hey, you could send New Year cards instead. Or you could wait until Valentine's and make that your big card holiday. :)

LOL. God struck Gandalf with a four-foot Christmas tree, and cast out his wickedness...

Folger's coffee is the worst ever.

I'm actually working on a Web site right now for my research. It's kinda funny... the longer I work on web sites, the less fancy they get. When I was 17-18, I made sites with tons of pretty graphics, lots of JavaScript, etc... now my pages are getting plainer and plainer. Looking forward to seeing your new design!

I kinda like Christmas cards. I liked the one you sent me last year. I don't send them myself, but, like Jessica, I figure that when I have a family I probably will.

:) Thanks!

I'm glad you like cards. You'll be getting one from me. Yours was one of the ones I worked on last night. :)

I have had my cards addressed, stamped, ready to go except for hubby's signature. They have been that way for a week. He doesn't want me to sign for him, but he can never find time to get it done. I don't understand - must be a guy thing!
I'm dying to know who the sort of co-worker is. I can think of a few people that sounds like, but don't want to guess here. You can email me if you feel like ratting them out ;)

Oh, it's no big deal. I'm not going to say. :) I didn't mean to stir up strife, but some things just make you go good grief.

Nooo! Don't remind me. Being single, I tend to still group myself with my parents with some presents and cards. :) I guess now that I'm living back out of the house, I really have no excuse to do that. My sisters said that after they moved out (which was when they married, so it's different) my grandma and some other relatives started calling them to talk. I don't think my relatives even have my number, and we should probably keep it that way. I figure that once I'm married, I'll have to start acting like an adult. Dangit.

Yeah, I've been on my own for two years and this is just now ocurring to me. So you're probably okay for a little while. Darn that adulthood.

Adulthood. Feh. All of our childhood we want to grow up, the rest of our lives, we try to go back. Blah. Youth is wasted on the young!

I have to say that I, for one, would never ever ever go back to being a child. I thought it really sucked a lot. The responsibilities of adulthood are a small price to pay for the freedoms :-)

The thing with me for chrismtas cards I never know who to send them to besides family. I mean I know a lot of people, but it would be really a chore to send them all christmas cards. So, last year I decided to write a christmas letter and post it on my website. And just told people to visit my website. I guess that is kind of dorky and not very personal, but it was a lot easier than writing 10 bizillion cards.

haha, this reminds me - I can't believe I never posted it. On Sunday my friend Leah and I were talking about the photos I took of her and her brother to put in family christmas cards - Jon was liek "for........... who? what?" ....... turns out he had never caught on to what christmas cards were for, or the fact that you're supposed to send them out to a million and a half people every year. now I'm wondering where his mom has hidden theirs every year! hes's so clueless. anyways, yeah, he did seem to think it was a rather odd idea.

That's hilarious about Gandalf.

Perhaps it should be,
" we have switched gandalf's catnip, with kitty valium!"
