I'm losing all my cool

I had a fun surprise last night! einbebop sent me a book! :) It's that book about Esther that we were discussing the other day. I was very surprised! Thanks so much! That was so nice of you! (By the way- how did you get my address? Lawson, did you have a hand in this? :))

Today is Day 2 of the government shutdown. I echo Jeremy's sentiments about our state. There's obviously no good solution to the problem. They need to just pick something so we can all get on with our lives. I don't want an income tax, but if they don't decide on something by Friday, there will be huge repercussions. Like fall session being cancelled, and Kathy losing her job and her classes, and Jamie not being able to graduate on time, and the interstate construction sitting dormant till next year... it makes my head spin.

I had other things to say, but for now I'll just do...
