Today's weather is cold and dark. I need to get my winter clothes from my parents' house, but first, we probably better decide how Evan and I are going to store our clothes once we're married. I was going to give him the guest room closet (mine is barely big enough for my clothes), but now he wants to install another clothes bar below the current one and hang his clothes on it. Moving in together is so complicated. :)

We just had a department lunch at Rafferty's. I had soup and salad. Now I'm excessively full.

Scrubs was great last night. What a versatile show. It's the only thing I watch regularly in prime time. Most mornings, I watch twenty minutes of Buffy while I eat breakfast. The problem is, it's the middle twenty minutes, so I never know how the episode started or how it ends. Usually I end up asking Evan - he's seen them all. When he was working at FedEx, he worked with some Buffy fans and really got into it. One of the girls he worked with is actually friends with the actress who played Tara.

I have decided to go back to my natural haircolor before the wedding. I started thinking, if I know I'm going back to it after the wedding and probably won't be doing the highlights anymore, why have them on my wedding day? I'm sure some people (i.e. my mom) will think I look dull without them, but oh well. I'll feel better being my old self again.

Does anyone know how to do a Generator layout with a banner at the top? Pretty soon I want to do a pre-wedding redesign, and I have this banner I got from a Friends community a long time ago. Generator is my favorite layout, but it has a lot less options to work with. Well, for someone who doesn't know what she's doing. :)

Ooooo, thanks! :) The problem with those is I can only watch so many at a time before I get sick of them. Maybe I can borrow one disk at a time. :)

Never watched Buffy.

I like generator too. At least for the friends page. It neatly boxes each person's entry while other layouts seem confusing to me. Let me know if you get a good answer.

I guess I never really thought about the fact that you would have to decide things like where he'll put his stuff etc before the wedding! (Just goes to show you I've never seriously thought about the subject before.)

Scrubs last night was awesome. I think it was probably their best episode yet! I literally laughed, cried, and laughed until I cried (the Janitor cracks me up so much--and his tricks last night were tops!). I'm glad I'm not the only Scrubs fan!

I think your hair will look beautiful back at its natural color! I'm sure you'll love it! Do you have any pictures of it before you started coloring it?

Yeah, but I don't think I have any on this computer. :)

Glad you like Scrubs too! It's been moved around so much, I don't think there are many fans.

Ithink going back to your natural colour before your wedding day makes sense - that way you will look yourself on the day! Besides you are gonna glow so much you don't need the highlights!

Hi Melanie! :)

I can't. People get aggravated with me about that all the time. I just have a tiny, weirdly shaped mouth and my teeth don't show when I smile.

Well, I'm not aggravated at all! That's a good enough reason! You're pretty either way, I'm sure. ;)

Do you mean like my layout (http://mzspearz.livejournal.com)?
The only "problem" is mine is S1, so if that's what you want, you'd have to go back to the old style....I couldn't figure out how to do it in S2.

If mine isn't what you mean...then...sorry :-\ Wish I could help!

No, that's exactly what I mean! Except the one I want to use is a different width. http://www.aardwolf.org/b/bestfriend.png

That's fine!
All of my banners are different sizes & I'm able to change the text boxes to fir the width of them :D

If you want I can either give you the code & let you work on it...or I can break into your account & do it for you. The only thing we'd need to discuss is colors.

Just let me know what you'd like!

Okay! Yay! I could probably do it with the code, just email it to me when you get a chance. If I can't figure it out, I'll let you know. Thanks for your help! :D

You are VERY sweet. And when my brain calms down from my LAST journal customization, I'll know EXACTLY who to come to. But at the moment, my head would probably explode if you tried to teach me how to pour a glass of tea... um... not that I don't already KNOW how to do that. Nevermind. ;)

What is your natural hair color...?

:) Thanks.

It's naturally dark brown. Chestnut, I guess you would call it. Right now it's sort of reddish-light brownish from all the bleaching.

You don't need hilights for your hair to glow. When Kathy/Deb (I can't remember who) puts your hair up, make sure you've bought some professional shine spray, which will make it glimmer for photos but not look fake.

You'll just be a shinier happier (if that's possible) looking bride. I got hit with the shine spray on my curls and it helped quite a bit!

Ikea possibility

From: [identity profile] rightwave.livejournal.com
hey there! I'm back, by the way - sorry for the absence. For your clothing space, you might consider a small external wardrobe. They have a great one at Ikea, but you might find one similar elsewhere. They can be really useful, and don't take up a whole lot of room space (while having enough room for a guy's clothes). Something to think about at least! :)
