Yay, a new picture! (Is it a relief to know I'm not actually green?) I am happy with this one. I took it yesterday, so it has my new haircut, but you can't see it. Oh well.

Visions of sandwiches and salads and ice cream are dancing in my head. I'm not sure why I am so hungry, but I feel like I could eat a ten-course meal. Since I have to run over to the mall at lunch, I could get Steak Escape, but I will be good and eat the pasta bowl that I brought with me.

This morning, I got an email from a girl I haven't talked to since 4th grade. We went to school together in Miami, and she found me through Classmates. It was very exciting. I spent a lot of this morning looking around on the site. I also found another elementary school friend, but I can't email her because I am not a Gold Member.

Related topic: People I went to high school with are married. People I went to high school with, who were younger than me, are having babies. I am going to do the smart thing, and not think about this.

West Wing was awesome last night, one of the best episodes I have seen. I am excited for Friends tonight. I'm doing my best to fit it in to my crazy-packing-cleaning-taking-luggage schedule. :)

The teacher I'm helping with his PhD project is taking me to lunch today. According to him (he's Asian), it's the best Chinese food restaurant in the city. It's on Covington Pike, but I forget the name... Maybe China House...

I know about that not-being-a-gold-member thing on Classmates. I'm on there and can't reach anybody because of that. Stupid money issues :o(

I can't believe that I almost forgot Friends is on tonight! Thanks for the reminder. My mom and I (and now we've gotten my dad to like it) always take time out to watch Friends together.

i don't know if you will read this before you go but.... i want it to be noted that:
1) not everyone you went to high school with is having babies (and if they are its because you went to Kirby (not that there's anything wrong with that))
2) not everyone you went to college with is married, in fact only a few of them are, most of us are VERY far from it (even those of us in serious relationships (ie- are boyfriends are 19 for the love of Mike ;))
3) Most all adults I know that did get married young wish that they had not gotten married young
4) Most people are not married by the time they are our age
5) most of the people i go to school with are older- by 3-5 years- and not married
6) of the cast of friends only Ross got married before he was 30- and we all know how those marriages went.

so no more talk about how you aren't married and everyone else is.... or you know what i'm going to have to do. ;)
