It's Friday! And there is much fun in store.

Emily is coming to town! We will continue our tradition of going to the Sunset Symphony all together. Kathy and I have become rather vague about making plans, so we weren't aware she was coming until a couple of days ago. It will be exciting with her at the apartment, having a KEBhouse again instead of just a KBhouse. :) I'm sure Daniel will be around too, which is good, because it's always fun to hang out with the future President of the United States. (Only 15 more years before he can run... I think.) :)

Tonight Ryan and I are going to see my sister's ENCORE show for the third time. We're both puzzled (and a little disturbed) that we want to see it again. But we do, and it makes her happy to have us there, so we're going.

Saviori (the college/career Bible study at my church) started up again last night. Summer Saviori is different. During the school year, we usually have about ten people. In the summer, people come home from school, and we have about fifty. This is good, but weird for us year-rounders, because we are suddenly surrounded by people we don't know (who all know each other). It makes me feel like a stranger in my own group. And it makes me feel old. I'm starting to feel kind of old and loser-y in general. I explain to people that I've graduated, and they're like, "Oh! Have you found a job yet? Are you excited?" and I have to say, "No, I have a job, I graduated last year." Then they kind of go, "Oh," and look at me weird. This has become one of my biggest peeves. First of all, I graduated sooner than most people- I'm only 22! Second of all, okay, so I'm not in school anymore, but my friends are- so I should leave my peer group and dump all my friends? It's ridiculous. Has anyone else been through this?

Anyway, I brought up Saviori to share that BJ is teaching on Revelation this summer. Which is funny, because the other major college/career pastor in town is also teaching it, on Wednesdays, and I've been planning for months to go to that. So I'm going to know Revelation very, very well by the end of the summer. :)

That is enough rambling from me for now.

I think it's funny that you're seeing a show called ENCORE again!

Hey... I know it's short notice, but Jeremy and I are going to the buffet in the new Wilson Hotel Management place on campus in 15 minutes. Call me (or Jerm) if you would like to meet us there too.

It's 11:55 right now, so I think you left already. :( Sorry. I'm not sure I can go to the Wilson anyway, because it is a rival hotel brand. I had to sign a contract. :)

Yep, been in that "I am in working world and my friends are in college scenario." Whenever you go on campus everyone looks at you funny and goes "I could have sworn you graduated." I am going to a classical music thing at my old college next month--eastern music festival. They have it every year and they usually have great music there each night. But, back to the point, no need to dump alllllllll your friends...just the sophomores and freshman...that should appease popular opinion. :)
