survey says
Jun. 5th, 2002 01:33 pmI've misplaced some money. A decent amount of money. I thought I put it in my purse this morning, but it's not there. It's probably still at home, but I'm still concerned.
In the meantime- another survey! More blissful time-consuming activity! Thank you, Jessica! :)
Confessions
1. Have you ever cheated on homework or a test? no
2. Have you ever called in sick when you weren't? No. But I have been tempted.
3. Have you ever told someone their new haircut/outfit looked great when you preferred the old look? Yes. I felt bad about it, but I didn't want them to feel ugly, especially if they couldn't do anything about it.
4. Have you ever told a telemarketer that you weren't home? No, I usually hang up on them.
5. Have you ever killed a bug for no reason while it was happily walking around outside, not bothering a soul? Yes- I used to smush ants. :(
Wishes
1. If you could be wearing any outfit right now, what would it be? My lavender tank top, and overalls. Very comfy.
2. If someone said, "Would you like a tasty and refreshing beverage?" and you said "Yes, please, that would be sensational!" what would you hope they have available? McAllisters iced tea, or Market Pantry grape-cranberry juice (my new addiction- can be found at Target)
3. If you could be taken (or take someone) anywhere for a nice date/outing, where would you want to go? Riding around Biscayne Bay (Miami) in a boat, and then going to dinner at Shuckers (a bayfront seafood restaurant), and then to a good movie.
4. If you could wake up with a new talent, what would it be? A beautiful singing voice.
5. If you could change anything about your job, what would you change? I would make it more fun and creative. (Of course, then it wouldn't be my job. :))
Preferences
1. Favorite snack foods? Pringles, Teddy Grahams, Goldfish
2. Contacts or glasses? Contacts. I can't stand losing my peripheral vision.
3. Ideal living situation in terms of number of roommates and who they are? I am currently in my best imaginable living situation, this side of marriage.
4. Favorite thing to do while commuting/road-tripping? singing
5. Favorite scenery to drive through? country roads shaded by lots of trees
History
1. What's the longest time you've ever talked on the phone to someone? I think 3 hours
2. What's the longest distance you've ever driven by yourself? About 10 miles, commuting. I've never taken a road trip by myself.
3. Who was your favorite teacher in school? Mrs. Sweeney. I had her for second grade and fourth grade. Amazingly, we still keep in touch!
4. Share with us a time or two when you got in trouble at school. One day during my senior year, I wore some cutoff shorts to school because I had band practice and all my other shorts were dirty. In my last class of the day, my teacher said they were too short. I said calmly that no one else had had a problem with them all day. Apparently she thought I was being sassy, because she took me to the principal! He gave me a lecture in the hallway about seniors needing to set a good example (while ogling other girls wearing much shorter shorts than mine). I was so mad. I told my parents about it, and they just laughed.
5. What is the last compliment you received? This morning my boss told me my dress was pretty.
6. What is the last compliment you gave? Yesterday I told my other boss that I liked her dress. :)
7. When's the last time you received flowers? 3 years ago
8. Where did you shop last? Target
9. What did you eat last? pretzel sticks
10. What did you say out loud last? "Hi" to someone passing by
