I just went home for lunch with Kathy. Since it's such a nice day, we took our folding chairs out to the middle of the courtyard and ate lunch there. It was fun and funny. :)

I haven't done any quizzes in a while, so... :)

What are you doing for Thanksgiving this year?
Going to my grandmother's house in Smithville, Texas.

What do you usually have for Thanksgiving dinner?
Turkey (fried turkey if we're at home), stuffing, green beans, cranberry sauce (my favorite), and rolls. Always the same. Always good. :) At Grandma's, we also have sweet potatoes, and pumpkin and pecan pies.

What's the strangest/most memorable Thanksgiving you've had?
Since we've only had a few at home, those are memorable. Last year, as I have said, I had Thanksgiving with my dad and brother, and Evan and Ryan. (My mom and sister went to Miami.) It was very happy and fun. :) Another year, my other grandma came up from Miami to surprise my mom. And then the next day I went to Hot Springs with [livejournal.com profile] yakko7178 and his mom, which was a fun time I will always remember. :)
EDIT: I forgot about Thanksgiving 1995 when I marched in the Houston Thanksgiving Day Parade. Now, that was an experience. :P :)

What is your preferred way to spend Thanksgiving?
Having it at home is more fun (I can see my friends) and relaxing (no family blowouts, no sitting in a car for 12 hours). But I don't mind going to see my family, especially now that everyone's getting older.

What's your favorite thing about Thanksgiving?
Time off from work! <--- Jess has the right idea. :) Also, eating turkey while watching football. :)

What's your least favorite thing about Thanksgiving?
Like I said; family stress. As I was telling Evan the other day, while my mom's side of the family can be wacko in an overanalytical way, my dad's side more resembles a Jerry Springer episode. :)

Do you go shopping the day after Thanksgiving?
Sometimes. It's fun and there are good sales. But I'm not all psycho about going.

Can someone point me to a good digital camera that is still reasonably priced ($200 give or take--unless I'm crazy for thinking I can get something for that price)?
That one Lawson mentioned is the only decent-looking one I see for that much. $200 is my limit too, so if my money ever comes, I'll probably get that one.
