It's snowing! It's snowing!!!

Last night I started thinking that it would be nice if it snowed. Not necessarily a "big snow" (Memphian translation: "any snow that sticks to the ground"), but just a flurry, because I like to watch the snow. So I prayed, briefly, that it might snow sometime soon. And now it's snowing! It wasn't even forecasted! :)

Now everyone's teasing me because I prayed for the snow. My mom just called to let me know about it, and I told her, and she was like, "Oh, I guess we'll just give you our prayer list from now on." :P But I am happy. God is so gracious. He's willing to grant the smallest desires of His children! Wow.

More later. But now- snow! :)

UPDATE: I have taken some pictures of the snow, but I don't have a USB cord here to upload them. Wah.

I am in Memphis. I've lived here since I was ten, so I guess I am "from" Memphis, but I spent all my life before the move in Miami. So in my heart, I am from Miami. I call it my dual citizenship. :)

How often does it snow in Memphis? We were near there for our honeymoon and loved it--living there wouldn't be so bad. But I don't like snow (I live in MN) so if its not too bad...

Not very often! Usually we get 1-3 sticking snowfalls in a winter, with occasional flurries. But for it to snow all day like this is unusual. :) We also get a big ice storm every 10 or so years, which throws the city into mass hysteria.

That's not really bad. It's really funny for people up here when to hear of the south shutting down if it snows/ices. not that bad weather is funny, but its the norm for us in the winter
