here comes the sun!

I've been walking around in a perky Legally Blonde-ish way all day. I think it's because it's beautiful and warm outside, and I'm thus wearing short sleeves and no coat for the first time this year. Wednesday Lunch today was held on my front porch so we could enjoy the weather. :) The windows were open in the apartment, so Gandalf heard my voice and started meowing and pushing on the window screen. Then we went upstairs to see him, and everyone witnessed what I call his "flopping"- he spontaneously collapses on his side in a cute way so that you will pet him. :) I think he was very pleased to have so many visitors in the middle of the day.

My sister reports that my parents are still angry about my California trip. I'm at a loss. I am so, so tired of feeling guilty over this. I complied to their requests (at great cost), and they're still mad. The most frustrating thing is, I know they'll never change their minds about it. Even when I come back alive and unharmed, they're going to hang this trip over my head as proof of my instability for the rest of my life. I want to tear my hair out.

Thinking about that is a quick way to destroy a nice day, so let's talk about something else. I just won these shoes! My favorite pair of work shoes fell apart last week, but I found these and they're almost exactly the same. So that's a blessing. :)

!! I've been looking for shoes like that! I have some other black buckle shoes that I loved but they're just getting old, and I can't find anything that I like at the store. All of the soles are weird, or they are too squared-off, or too tall or pointy. I hate some of the styles these days.

I know. I didn't think I would ever find another pair, so I bid on these right away. :) Shoemakers today just have horrible taste, I guess. I don't know how long it's been since I found anything I liked at Payless, and I used to get all my shoes there. The best I can do now is Target.

I know. That irritated me too. And "sexy" is in the descriptions of almost every women's clothing item on ebay, just because they know that's what sells. I bet you could find a "sexy" jogging suit there. :P

then this cute girl uses her phone to take a picture of him and then he says "Who took the picture of Little Richard?" hehehehe

both my ebay account and my dads have been suspended from ebay. I am so sad and about to scream. I have sent my fax to get it restored so now it is wait and see. Someone used my name and address and got a new account with it and commited fraud.

You shouldn't feel guilty at all. You are old enough to make your own decisions and do what you want to do and your parents just need to deal with that!! I understand how frustrated you must be with the whole situation...I sure would be!

Well parents are silly. They will eventually get over it. My mother has me help her plan trips now. Don't let them make you feel guilty about it. Just enjoy the trip itself.
