take my scissors, please
Apr. 14th, 2003 02:32 pmI got to go home early on Friday, so I took Gandalf outside again. This was the result:

Gandalf's head and some ivy.

Gandalf's head and some pink azaleas.

His tail with some lavender azaleas...

...and again with some red azaleas.
I'm done posting pictures today. I promise.
I love my new icon. As usual, the ever-generous Jessica iconed the picture for me.
I have a very busy week coming up...a million lunches, dinner tomorrow night with Yolanda (my Streets girl), band practice, Maundy Thursday service, more band practice, other Easter activities. In my "spare time," I need to be working on Debra's scrapbook. I'm not very happy with it so far. I'm doing it chronologically, but I feel like the book has no flow. Each page is a different color instead of flowing all together, and I'm running out of creative ideas for borders. I can't crop the pictures, either, because I don't have very many pictures to begin with and I don't want to end up with a five-page book. I feel that it looks very unprofessional and I'm sure my mother won't like it. Kathy has to keep reminding me that it's Debra's book and she's going to love it. I am stressed anyway.
A nap would be nice right now.

You're looking at it from a design and flowy perspective, but Deb is going to just enjoy looking at what pictures you chose and that you even made her the book. I get caught up in details about things I design, but I have to remember that others just want the information and won't notice that as much. So...that is my analogy for you.
Also, do you like how I refer to your sister, who I have never met, as "Deb"?
