I'm back at work! I think every weekend should be a three-day weekend. I cleaned and did laundry yesterday, so I can actually have evening activities this week. It snowed for half an hour yesterday morning, which was fun and pretty to watch. I had planned to go for a walk, but with the snow and wind chill of 10, I decided to do an exercise tape instead. This proved to be a bad move. I was wearing socks because of the cold, and while doing a triple-step to the side, my legs flew out from under me. I twisted something in my foot on the way down. It's too bad I was alone, because I'm sure it would have been hilarious to see. The pain, however, was not hilarious. After writhing on the floor for a while, I called Evan for his advice on what to do- I felt like something must be broken. Thankfully I was able to move my toes, so we decided I was okay. Today it hurts less, but I don't think I'll be wearing heels this week. :P

Evan and I had a disagreement about the vast number of pillows on my bed and my fanaticism about the way they are arranged. To my own surprise, I heard myself giving a whole speech on proper pillow placement and usage. It was like the Friends episode where they figured out that Monica had eleven categories for towels. I'm scared of myself now. Anyway, I realized that we on LJ have never addressed this relevant and important topic, so here you go:

Ahhh. This is a subject close to my heart! Unfortunately not one that Fraser and I agree with! I use 3 pillows, 2 for my head and one for my bump, Fraser uses 2. BUT, I also have 2 cushions on the bed for decoration, which are delicately removed by me or flung from the bed by Fraser. BUT the big issue is the arrangement of pillows. We have contrasting sets, the pretty one on top, and on top of the quilt, and if it has flowers on it, the flowers MUST be pointing to the top of the bed! Am I a freak? To torment me, Fraser turns the pillows vertically!

LOL! If you're a freak, then I am too! I have to have the pillows in a certain arrangement, facing a certain way. I feel much better now that you have shared. LOL.

Evan messes things up to torment me, too. We used to eat together on campus when we first met, and I'd fold my Subway wrappers very precisely. He'd crumple or tear the corners just to bother me. Since then he has gotten even better at finding my weaknesses. :)

Hmmm...Chris and I don't usually rearrange things to torment each other, but when I want to get his goat I start talking about "these ones" and "those ones," those happening to be the only big grammatical mistakes I make...and, coincidentally, the ones that drive him most insane! : ) *laughs evilly*
