I'm back at work! I think every weekend should be a three-day weekend. I cleaned and did laundry yesterday, so I can actually have evening activities this week. It snowed for half an hour yesterday morning, which was fun and pretty to watch. I had planned to go for a walk, but with the snow and wind chill of 10, I decided to do an exercise tape instead. This proved to be a bad move. I was wearing socks because of the cold, and while doing a triple-step to the side, my legs flew out from under me. I twisted something in my foot on the way down. It's too bad I was alone, because I'm sure it would have been hilarious to see. The pain, however, was not hilarious. After writhing on the floor for a while, I called Evan for his advice on what to do- I felt like something must be broken. Thankfully I was able to move my toes, so we decided I was okay. Today it hurts less, but I don't think I'll be wearing heels this week. :P

Evan and I had a disagreement about the vast number of pillows on my bed and my fanaticism about the way they are arranged. To my own surprise, I heard myself giving a whole speech on proper pillow placement and usage. It was like the Friends episode where they figured out that Monica had eleven categories for towels. I'm scared of myself now. Anyway, I realized that we on LJ have never addressed this relevant and important topic, so here you go:

Which exercise tape were you doing? I only own one - "Darren's Dance Grooves". Yeah, just give me a navel ring and call me Britney, but it's fun! LOL! Anyway, glad you're okay!

It was the 10 Minute Workout (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00005R24O/qid=1074635428//ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl74/103-0496501-5751004?v=glance&s=dvd&n=507846), boot camp section. The irony is, I wasn't in the mood to exercise at all, and I spent the five minutes up to that point trying to psych myself into finishing. Patheticness at not having 10 minutes of energy aside, I should have listened to my body. :P :)

I have Darren's Dance Grooves, but I can't use it for workout purposes. I guess I could repeat the sections over and over, but that's kind of jumpy and I don't feel like I'm getting a consistent workout. It is fun, though!

I still have Darren's Dance Grooves...but I haven't tried it again since that first time.....when I realized that I really am not coordinated enough to really be a dancer..and it just made me laugh too much to really be serious about it.
