I'm back at work! I think every weekend should be a three-day weekend. I cleaned and did laundry yesterday, so I can actually have evening activities this week. It snowed for half an hour yesterday morning, which was fun and pretty to watch. I had planned to go for a walk, but with the snow and wind chill of 10, I decided to do an exercise tape instead. This proved to be a bad move. I was wearing socks because of the cold, and while doing a triple-step to the side, my legs flew out from under me. I twisted something in my foot on the way down. It's too bad I was alone, because I'm sure it would have been hilarious to see. The pain, however, was not hilarious. After writhing on the floor for a while, I called Evan for his advice on what to do- I felt like something must be broken. Thankfully I was able to move my toes, so we decided I was okay. Today it hurts less, but I don't think I'll be wearing heels this week. :P

Evan and I had a disagreement about the vast number of pillows on my bed and my fanaticism about the way they are arranged. To my own surprise, I heard myself giving a whole speech on proper pillow placement and usage. It was like the Friends episode where they figured out that Monica had eleven categories for towels. I'm scared of myself now. Anyway, I realized that we on LJ have never addressed this relevant and important topic, so here you go:

I gave contradictory answers and I feel the need to explain myself. I have two pillow on my bed - one is pretty soft and the other is more firm. When I'm reading on my bed, I use both of them. Before I go to sleep, I take one of them off, depending on which bed I'm sleeping on. At school, the bed is really soft and comfortable so I use the soft pillow. At home, the bed is kind of hard and lumpy so I use the firmer pillow. I recently realized that it's more comfortable to me if my pillow matches the level of softness of the bed. This is a topic that many people can just go on and on about. :)
